Bee/bird food trees

The number of existing insect species is declining worldwide. This unfortunate trend has its origins in many different causes. Regardless of the individual factors causing insect mortality, it is vital to stop this development in the long term.

Pollen and nectar are the basis of life for insects and other pollinators, but not all plants are equally valuable as a food source. It would be desirable to increase the planting of so-called “bee pasture plants”, if possible those that are beneficial to insect populations due to their pollen and nectar supply.

Bird food plants, on the other hand, provide birds with a good food source, usually through a rich supply of berries. Here too, our range offers a wide selection of different woody plants for your project.
